I’ve been working on a lot of Adventure Time Promos lately but this one stands out a bit since I had to mimic a popular web video. The only audio I had was clean character VO. Everything else was created. It was definitely a fun piece to work on.

This is a promo for a new vampire show that my friend Scott Wiley edited for BMLA. I had a lot of fun doing the audio for this since I don’t really get to work on too many dark/moody pieces.

Around Halloween I got to work with Kevin Mason on some promos for a Chowder marathon. I really like Chowder so this was a treat for me. I had a lot of fun doing the sound design for these promos.

Here’s a taste of the Yung Yeti stuff I worked on. This particular clip reel won’t ever be on there but since they haven’t put up the episodes I decided to have Scott Wiley work with me and make this sample. Hope you enjoy it.

AdultSwim: Metalocalypse

This promo didn’t actually air due to being sort of vetoed early on. But Barry and I had already recorded the VO, and he had edited the video, so I asked if I could have the final video anyways just for a sort of exercise. I really had fun working on it and I love the show. Wish this would have gotten to air but glad I was given the opportunity to work on it.

CNLA: Naruto Marathon

Worked with Daniel Xavier on this one. My good buddy Scott Wiley did the video editing. Overall it was fun project and we managed to get it out the door in a pretty short amount of time.

CN: Master Control

Got to work with Kevin Mason on this one. Master Control is a new concept for kids to not only take control of the network, but for them to also win battles by voting for their team. This was really fun to work on.

CNLA: KND Operation Z.E.R.O.

Pepe from CNLA brought this in to me and said “make it sound huge, like a movie.” And that’s exactly what I did. It’s definitely one of the louder promos I have ever done. Although it’s only a :30 it fits a lot of action in that small amount of time.

This was an extremely fun project to work on. I really enjoy horror movies and even have signatures from some of the people that are in this promo. So needless to say I put extra effort into making this sound right.
