Finally out of the storm!

July 1st, 2008

We finished our 48 Hour Film Project Entry this sunday and actually managed to get it there on time this year. I haven’t posted the movie itself yet, but the 3 original songs I made are up in the projects section.

You may notice that the Projects section and the Demo reel section have also been given a little overhaul. I’ve added embedded quicktimes and mp3s to make it a little easier on everyone.

So…tired….

June 28th, 2008

We kicked off the 48 Hour Film Project at around 7pm yesterday, since then we’ve managed to lock down 4 of the 5 songs needed for the movie. I’ve also been making some of the photoshop elements we’ll be using while the rest of the team is out shooting the movie that we wrote last night. Things are happening fast, but we’re a bit off schedule, by about 2 hours. Hopefully we get everything done and turned in on time. I’ve managed to get about 3 hours of sleep since 7am yesterday, kind of crazy.

48 Hour Approaches

June 19th, 2008

Come June 27th I will be participating in my 4th 48 Hour Film Fest. These are pretty fun to do but are incredibly taxing on one’s system. Looking forward to it though. I’ll be working with my good friend and fellow Soapbox employee, Scott Wiley. I’ll be blogging across the 3 days of the event.

I’ve been working on StrangerThings.tv Episode 4 a lot lately. Act 1 went live last week, and Act 2 will be going live Wednesday I believe. Go check it out.

Episode 4, Act 1 of StrangerThings.tv will be debuting at Balticon this weekend. I’ve been working on this nightly for about the past two weeks so I’m pretty proud of it. So, if you happen to be in Baltimore, go see it, or just wait for it to appear on the interwebs.

Yung Yeti

January 28th, 2008

I am now working on the prebuilds for new episodes of Yung Yeti, a greenimation project from Option-G. I’ll post links to the final versions as they get done, probably going to be in April.

Apocalypto

July 24th, 2007

As an exercise, I re-sweetened the trailer for Apocalypto. I even custom did the music. Overall I’m pretty happy with it. Check it out here. Or in the projects section. I’m also doing this with an edited version of the trailer for Night Watch. Look for that soon.

It was a lot of fun being a part of this video. Everyone in The Smashing Pumpkins is amazing and they really made me feel good about the shoot. I’m more than happy with how this came out.
